Responsibilities

- Drive the global Facility Management community by involvement of the site Facility Managers.
- Secure structured facility maintenance programs for compliance with health, safety, environmental and sustainability requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to standardize and improve Facility Management, utilities, systems, emergency preparedness plans, site inspections, facility audits, insurance compliance and sustainability practices.
- Secure a full risk overview and contingency plans to mitigate risks in relation to facilities, utilities, systems, environmental impact, sustainability compliance and other relevant areas.
- Financial planning, budgeting, controlling and support for site Facility Managers, including sustainability-related investments, energy efficiency initiatives and resource optimization projects.
- Project planning and project management, including tracking schedules, budgets and costs for facility, sustainability and environmental improvement projects.
- Identify and implement improvements, cost-out initiatives, energy savings, waste reduction and sustainability synergies across sites.
- Vendor management, including alignment with sustainability requirements, environmental standards and responsible sourcing expectations where relevant.
- Report creation and documentation, including relevant sustainability, energy, utilities and environmental performance inputs.

- Expertise in reading building drawings, specifications, 2D and 3D drawings, etc.

- Ability to collaborate with Global Sustainability and local sites to translate sustainability targets into practical facility actions.
- Great leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Planning and maintaining facility budgets, including energy efficiency and sustainability-related initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Contract handling experience.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fluent in English verbally and in writing, and/or either Polish/Danish as a second language.

Educational Qualification Required

- Bachelor/Masters degree in Engineering.

Relevant Experience Required

- 5-8 years New plant start-up, green and brownfield. Budgeting, implementation, and inspection.
