Job DescriptionThe Role: S&P; Dow Jones Indices a global leader in providing investable and benchmark indices to the financial markets, is looking for a Lead Application Developer to join our technology team.
NThe Team: You will be part of global technology team comprising of Dev, QA and BA teams and will be responsible for analysis, design, development and testing.
NThe Impact: You will be working on one of the core technology platforms responsible for index calculations as well as dissemination of index values

NResponsibilities:
NTechnical leadership & delivery ownership

- Own end-to-end technical execution for modernization and migration initiatives (scope, design, implementation, quality, and delivery milestones). N

nAWS cloud-native implementation

- Design and guide build-out of cloud foundations required for up-to-date apps (networking, environments, security, observability,

- Ensure production readiness: performance testing strategy, failure-mode testing, rollout/rollback procedures. N

nEngineering excellence & SDLC

- Set standards forclean code, code reviews, test automation, branching/release strategy, and environment promotion. N
- Drive test strategy across stacks: unit, contract, integration, regression, and end-to-end tests;
