: Senior Lead / Lead Engineering & Sourcing-Thermal HVAC and cooling systems-Automotive

Education: B.E ( Mech / Electrical and Electronics)

8-12 years in Automotive OEM or Tier I

Work Location : Aurangabad ( Maharashtra)

Engineering and Sourcing experience for automotive passenger car HVAC Systems, Air conditioning , Blowers, Compressors, heaters cores , refrigent lines)

- Purchase materials, components or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery target.
- Identify the suitable suppliers in the category of HVAC- Thermal systems and lighting
- Develop HVAC architecture including HVAC modules, blower motors, evaporators, heater cores, and refrigerant lines
- Experience in cabin heating and cooling loads, 1D/3D thermal system simulations
- Work with cross-functional teams (e.g., body, powertrain, and electronics) to seamlessly integrate climate control modules into the vehicle interior
- Purchase and development of Automotive components in the category of Electrical and Electronics components.
- Experience in development of Four wheeler passenger car Automotive components.
- Negotiate contracts, improved prices and terms of business with suppliers and review opportunities to make business savings utilising negotiation and procurement best practice tools and methods
- Assess and evaluate suppliers and undertake performance reviews to ensure contract compliance and manage performance improvement activities

Skill Proven purchasing experience, preferably within an automotive or manufacturing workplace.

Deep Engineering Knowledge and experience in Thermal management. AC/ HVAC systems,

Tooling,



Raw Material and manufacturing Process Knowledge. Plastic molding, Rubber molding and sheet metal stampings

Cost estimation and target cost setting.

In depth Knowledge of manufacturing process and applications of automotive Thermal, electrical and electrical systems

Strong negotiation, communication, interpersonal and influencing skills

Analytical, numerically astute with strong proven problem solving abilities

Results orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against project deadlines

Keen attention to detail and accuracy.

Willing to relocate other cities and locations.
