We are looking for a Solution Architect – Pre-Sales who will take ownership of the technical solutioning and technical content of bids and proposals. The primary responsibility of this role is to analyse RFPs and customer requirements, define the appropriate technical solution and architecture, make technology and implementation approach decisions, and lead the preparation of the technical response for bid submissions.

The candidate will work closely with Business Development, Domain Experts, Product Teams, OEMs/Technology Partners, Project Management, and senior management to develop technically sound, compliant, scalable, and commercially viable solutions.

Responsibilities:

1. RFP Analysis & Technical Assessment

- Lead the technical analysis of RFPs, RFIs, EOIs, and tender documents.
- Analyse and interpret functional, technical, architectural, integration, infrastructure, security, performance, data migration, and O&M; requirements.
- Prepare a detailed technical requirement and compliance matrix.
- Identify technical gaps, ambiguities, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and deviations in the RFP.
- Identify areas requiring clarification from the customer and prepare technical clarification queries.
- Assess the technical feasibility of the opportunity and advise BD team on the appropriate solution approach.

1. Technical Solutioning & Architecture

- Take ownership of the technical solution proposed for the bid.
- Define the solution approach based on the RFP requirements, existing products, customer needs, and project constraints.
- Decide whether the requirement should be addressed through product/framework, customization, custom development, OEM/third-party solution, integration, or a combination of these.
- Prepare the required solution architecture, architecture diagrams, workflows, and integration architecture.
- Evaluate different technical options and recommend the most suitable solution considering functionality, scalability, security, timeline, complexity, risk, and cost.

1. Technical Proposal Preparation

- Lead and own the preparation of the technical proposal / bid response.
- Prepare and review all technical sections of the proposal.
- Ensure the technical response is explicit, accurate, and compliant with the RFP.
- Coordinate with domain, product,



and technical teams to collect the required inputs.
- Ensure the proposed solution, architecture, resources, timeline, and commercials are aligned.
- Conduct the final technical review of the bid before submission.

1. Technical Compliance & Bid Quality

- Take ownership of the technical compliance matrix and ensure that all mandatory requirements are adequately addressed.
- Validate that every important RFP requirement has a corresponding response in the technical proposal.
- Identify non-compliance or potential technical disqualification risks before bid submission.
- Review the complete bid from a technical perspective before final submission.

1. Technology & Product Evaluation

- Evaluate available products, frameworks, OEM technologies, and third-party solutions against RFP requirements.
- Recommend appropriate technologies and products for the proposed solution.
- Coordinate with OEMs and technology partners to obtain technical inputs, architecture information, compliance details, and product capabilities.
- Evaluate build vs. buy vs. customize vs. integrate options.
- Identify opportunities to leverage existing company IP, products, reusable frameworks, and accelerators.

1. Technical Estimation & Solution Planning

- Prepare technical estimates covering effort, resources, skills, timelines, infrastructure, licences, third-party components, integrations, data migration, testing, security, and O&M; requirements.
- Validate whether the proposed solution is technically feasible within the proposed timeline and budget.
- Work closely with the Commercial/Bid Team to ensure alignment between the technical solution and commercial proposal.

1. Customer & Technical Presentation

- Participate in customer discussions, technical workshops, pre-bid meetings, and clarification sessions.
- Present the proposed solution and architecture to customers and evaluation committees.




- Conduct technical demonstrations and solution walkthroughs when required.
- Respond to technical queries raised during the bidding and evaluation process.
- Support technical negotiations and post-bid technical clarifications.

1. Bid-to-Delivery Transition

- Conduct structured technical handover of the awarded solution to the delivery team.
- Explain the proposed architecture, technical commitments, assumptions, dependencies, and solution approach.
- Highlight any specific technical commitments made during the bid that need to be tracked during implementation.
- Support the delivery team during the initial project phase where clarification of the proposed solution is required.

Required Technical & Architecture Skills Strong understanding of enterprise IT concepts, including:
- DBMS (RDBMS and NoSQL)
- Web Servers and Application Servers
- Hands-on development experience in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, .NET or equivalent)
- Application design patterns and coding best practices
- APIs and system integrations (REST / SOAP / event-based integrations, etc.)
- Microservices and monolithic architecture concepts
- Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP – architectural and deployment understanding)
- Containerization and orchestration concepts (Docker, Kubernetes – conceptual)
- Data migration strategies and ETL concepts
- Analytics, reporting, and dashboards
- AI / ML fundamentals and use cases
- Blockchain and IoT concepts
- Data Centre (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) architecture

Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science / IT or equivalent.
- 12+ years of overall IT experience.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Solution Architecture/Technical Pre-Sales Head/ Technical Consulting.
- Prior hands-on software development experience is mandatory.
- Proven experience in technical proposal preparation and RFP-based bidding.
- Experience in large-scale Government / PSU / Enterprise IT projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.

Pay: ₹1,089,623.67 - ₹2,065,721.22 per year
