Job Role: Software Test Engineer- LMS& LOS Testing

Experience: 2-6 years

Locations: Mumbai

We are looking for a skilled Software Test Engineer with hands-on experience in Loan Origination System (LOS) and Loan Management System (LMS) testing, along with strong knowledge of API testing. The candidate should have experience in manual testing of lending applications and end-to-end loan lifecycle processes.Key Responsibilities

- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing for LOS and LMS applications.
- Test the complete loan lifecycle, including:
- Customer onboarding
- Loan application
- Eligibility and validation
- Credit appraisal
- Loan approval and sanction
- Disbursement
- Repayment and EMI processing
- Foreclosure and closure
- Collections and overdue management
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman, Swagger, or SoapUI.
- Validate API requests and responses, including JSON/XML, status codes, headers, authentication, and error handling.
- Test integrations between LOS/LMS and other banking systems such as Core Banking, Credit Bureau, Payment Gateway, KYC, and third-party applications.
- Prepare and execute test cases and test scenarios based on business and functional requirements.




- Log, track, and follow up on defects using tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
- Perform database validation using SQL queries.
- Participate in requirement analysis, test planning, test execution, and UAT support.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in LOS and/or LMS Testing.
- Robust understanding of Lending and Loan Lifecycle processes.
- Experience in Manual Testing.
- Hands-on experience in API Testing using Postman/Swagger/SoapUI.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP APIs.
- Good understanding of JSON/XML, HTTP methods, response codes, authentication, and API validations.
- Experience in SQL and database testing.
- Knowledge of Defect Management and Test Management tools.
- Experience in Banking, NBFC, FinTech, or Lending domain will be preferred.
