- Network Design and Implementation:
n
- Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including Cisco switches, routers, firewalls, Ruckus and Aerohive Access Point.
n
- Configure and deploy PaloAlto firewalls And SCM (Strata cloud manager) to ensure high security and effective traffic management.
n
- Perform network assessments to ensure system performance and optimization.
n
- Ensure the integration of new technologies and infrastructure components into existing networks.
n
- Network Security Management:
n
- Configure and maintain PaloAlto to ensure secure perimeter protection.
n
- Implement advanced security features such as VPN, IPSec tunnels, and threat prevention policies.
n
- Monitor and mitigate network security risks, conduct vulnerability assessments, and ensure compliance with security protocols.
n
- Troubleshoot and resolve network security issues such as unauthorized access attempts, malware, and denial-of-service attacks.
n
- Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
n
- Continuously monitor network performance using relevant tools and technologies.
n
- Troubleshoot network issues and optimize overall performance across both hardware and software.
n
- Collaborate with internal teams to identify, investigate, and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
n
- Provide first-level support for network-related issues.
n
- Documentation and Reporting:
n
- Maintain accurate records of network configurations, changes, and incident reports.
n
- Generate reports on network health, security incidents, and performance metrics.
n
- Provide clear and detailed documentation on network infrastructure, procedures,



and troubleshooting steps.
n
- Collaboration and Support:
n
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth integration of network services with servers, applications, and storage systems.
n
- Assist in defining and implementing networking best practices and standards.
n
- Provide technical support and guidance to other departments and end-users.
n

Role specific competencies Required:

n

5+ Years of Experience in Network Infrastructure.

n

n
- Proficiency in configuring and managing Cisco switches and routers (Cisco IOS, Catalyst, Nexus), Ruckus and Aerohive access Point.
n
- Hands-on experience with PaloAlto Firewalls, including configuration, management, security features, and VPN solutions and troubleshooting.
n
- Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, BGP, Azure ExpressRoute and VLANs.
n
- Experience with network monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, OpManager).
n
- Familiarity with network security is the best practice, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion prevention systems.
n
- Certifications (Preferred but not required):
n
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher.
n
- Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE).
n
