Hello All, Greetings from Tesslogs, Client: IBM End client: Shell Experience: 8 Years Location: Benagluru Notice period: Immediate / 30 days Key Responsibilities Build Trading-Grade User Interfaces - Develop high-performance applications using React, TypeScript, and JavaScript. - Build intuitive, accessible interfaces for complex trading and data-intensive workflows. - Design reusable components, UI patterns, and front-end engineering standards. - Integrate applications with REST APIs, WebSockets, backend services, and Kafka/event streams. - Implement secure authentication and SSO/OIDC flows. Engineering Excellence & Quality - Write clean, scalable, maintainable, and testable code. - Optimise application performance, reliability, accessibility, and user experience. - Participate in technical design, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation. - Implement CI/CD, DevOps practices, secure coding, and automated testing. - Use AI-assisted development tools responsibly while maintaining engineering quality and security standards. - Troubleshoot production issues using logs, browser DevTools, distributed tracing, and structured error reporting. Business & Stakeholder Collaboration - Collaborate closely with Product, UX, Business, Architecture, and Engineering teams. - Translate ambiguous business requirements into practical technical solutions. - Break requirements into estimable tasks and provide realistic delivery timelines. - Communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions effectively with technical and business stakeholders. - Support releases, production troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives. Required Skills Core Technical Skills - 5–8+ years of experience building enterprise web applications. - Expert-level React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design. - Strong knowledge of: - Front-end architecture - Component design - State management - Performance optimisation - Automated testing - Hands-on experience with GitHub Actions or equivalent CI/CD tools.



- Understanding of build pipelines and basic Kubernetes concepts for deployment and troubleshooting. - Experience with application logs, browser DevTools, distributed tracing such as OpenTelemetry/Application Insights, and structured error reporting. Real-Time & Trading Platform Experience - Experience building real-time, data-heavy user interfaces. - Strong experience with WebSockets, streaming APIs, Kafka, Redpanda, or event-driven messaging. - Solid understanding of REST API integration, microservices, and secure authentication. - Experience consuming and troubleshooting real-time data flows. - Ability to read Kafka/Redpanda message headers, correlate events across services, and validate stream behaviour during integration and UAT. - Experience in financial services, commodities, energy trading, or front-office technology is highly preferred. AI-Assisted Development - Experience with GitHub Copilot, Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI services, or equivalent AI-assisted development tools. - Ability to leverage AI for: - Coding - Automated testing - Debugging - Refactoring - Documentation - Pull request preparation - Strong ability to review AI-generated code for security, privacy, quality, performance, and maintainability.
