Role & Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Java Card Operating System / embedded firmware for security-focused SoC platforms.

Work at the low-level firmware layer, interacting with hardware registers and embedded interfaces.

Implement and optimize software under tight RAM/NVM constraints.

Work with GlobalPlatform, Smartcard and NFC/contactless technologies.

Develop secure software involving cryptography, key and certificate management.

Perform coding, debugging, integration and automated testing in a C/C++ and Java workplace.

Collaborate with global engineering teams and communicate technical solutions effectively.

Preferred Candidate Profile

5+ years of embedded software/firmware development with strong C/C++ skills.





3+ years of Java Card / Smartcard OS development preferred.

Strong hands-on experience in low-level/SoC firmware, not just application, parser, tooling or host-side software.

Experience with GlobalPlatform, NFC/contactless, IC/UART or similar interfaces.

Knowledge of cryptography, secure software and memory optimization.

Candidates with C/C++ embedded experience and some Java Card background who can quickly pick up Java are encouraged.

Bangalore-based candidates only and willing to work on a 1-year contractual opportunity.
