Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and driven Software Development Engineer – 2 (SDE-2) to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong software development experience and a proven ability to design, develop, test, and deploy scalable and reliable systems.

In this role, you will take ownership of key engineering initiatives, collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, and contribute to building cloud-native, distributed, and AI-driven applications. You will work with modern technologies across backend systems, databases, cloud platforms, and emerging areas such as LLMs and AI workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain clean, efficient, scalable, and well-documented software solutions using Python or Java.
- Take ownership of end-to-end development of scalable, modular, and high-performance software components.
- Design and optimize NoSQL and RDBMS database solutions, including data modeling, queries, indexing, and performance optimization.
- Design, implement, and manage cloud-based applications and deployments using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Develop and maintain secure authentication, authorization, and access-control mechanisms.




- Build and maintain automated testing and CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliability, code quality, and efficient software delivery.
- Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to define technical solutions and deliver business-critical features.
- Use Git and modern development practices while contributing to code reviews, technical documentation, and engineering standards.
- Work effectively in Linux-based development environments and follow industry-standard coding, security, and software engineering practices.

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python or Java.
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.

• Solid hands-on working experience with databases (SQL or NoSQL) concepts.
- Good knowledge of web development fundamentals (APIs, HTTP, REST).
- Strong hands-on working experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

• Strong hands-on working experience with CI/CD, testing frameworks, and Git workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have:

- Prior experience working with distributed systems and cloud-based applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with LLMs, AI workflows, and RAG pipelines.
- Prior professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend engineering.
