Role
Software Developer
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance .NET applications.
- Develop applications using C#, .NET Framework/.NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and ASP.NET Core.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs, Web Services, and third-party integrations.
- Integrate AI APIs and AI-based services into applications.
- Develop web components using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Develop and optimise SQL Server databases, queries, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
- Use Entity Framework/EF Core and LINQ for data access.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Use Git, GitHub, and/or Azure DevOps for source control.
- Deploy and troubleshoot applications hosted on IIS Server.
- Troubleshoot application, API, database, and production issues.
- Support and continuously improve IGRIS and other GQS software applications.
- Identify and implement current technologies, including AI-enabled solutions, to improve systems and processes.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation and provide regular progress updates.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.
- Good knowledge of ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, and Web Services.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, Entity Framework/EF Core, LINQ, Stored Procedures, and Functions.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and/or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of IIS deployment and production support.
- Experience with third-party API and AI API integration will be an added advantage.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Candidates with experience in enterprise/business application development will be preferred.
