Role Description The Social Media Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, responsible for managing Sounds Of Giraffe’s presence across major social media platforms.

In this role, the individual will plan and execute social media campaigns, create and schedule posts, and maintain a consistent brand voice. Day-to-day tasks include developing content calendars, coordinating with creative and marketing teams, monitoring performance metrics, and optimizing content for reach and engagement.

The Social Media Manager will actively respond to audience interactions, track trends, and adjust strategies to support brand growth and community building. This role also involves reporting on key performance indicators and recommending improvements based on data and insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and grow Giraffe Audio’s presence across all relevant social media platforms.
- Plan and execute content calendars, posts, reels, stories and campaigns.




- Manage and optimise Meta Ads and other digital campaigns.
- Track performance, engagement, leads and campaign metrics.
- Assist with website updates, content and basic digital optimisation.
- Support brand communication, marketing initiatives and creative campaigns.
- Conduct competitor and market research.
- Coordinate with vendors, partners and other stakeholders when required.
- Contribute to sales, marketing, presentations, events and other day-to-day business activities.
- Take ownership of tasks and help wherever the business requires support.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills to manage and grow brand channels effectively.
- Candidates should possess solid Content Strategy and Writing skills to plan, create, and adapt content for different platforms and audiences.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and engage with online communities in a professional manner.
- Experience with analytics tools (e.g., Meta Insights, Instagram Analytics, or similar) and basic understanding of performance metrics is beneficial.
- Familiarity with visual content tools (such as Canva or basic design software) and short-form video platforms is an advantage.
