About the Role

We are looking for a creative, energetic and detail-oriented Smartphone Photographer & Social Media Executive to join the Narang Ethnics team.

The primary focus of this role will be creating beautiful, high-quality content using a smartphone for our ethnic-wear collections. The candidate should have a strong natural eye for photography, understand good lighting, angles, framing and composition, and know how to make products look attractive and premium through mobile photography.

Alongside photography, the role will also involve handling social media chats, responding to customer enquiries and assisting with online sales.

Key Responsibilities

Smartphone Photography & Content Creation

⁠ ⁠Photograph sarees, suits, lehengas and other ethnic-wear products using a smartphone.

⁠ ⁠Create content for the website, Instagram, Facebook and other digital platforms.

⁠ ⁠Capture products in an aesthetically pleasing and visually appealing manner.

⁠ ⁠Understand lighting, angles, framing, composition and backgrounds.

⁠ ⁠Take product, model, mannequin and flat-lay photographs using a phone.

⁠ ⁠Shoot short-form videos and reels for Instagram and social media.

⁠ ⁠Regularly create fresh product content for new collections and launches.

Photo & Video Editing

⁠ ⁠Edit photographs professionally using mobile or desktop editing applications.

⁠ ⁠Handle cropping, colour correction, brightness, background cleanup and basic retouching.

⁠ ⁠Edit short-form videos and reels for social media.

⁠ ⁠Maintain consistency in the overall visual look and aesthetic of the brand.

Social Media Chats & Online Sales

⁠ ⁠Handle Instagram and Facebook DMs and customer enquiries.





⁠ ⁠Respond to customers promptly and professionally.

⁠ ⁠Share product details, prices, sizes, availability and styling information.

⁠ ⁠Follow up with potential customers and assist in converting enquiries into sales.

⁠ ⁠Coordinate with the sales team regarding customer requirements and orders.

⁠ ⁠Develop a positive understanding of our products, fabrics, designs and sizing to assist customers effectively.

Skills Required

⁠ ⁠Excellent smartphone photography skills — this is the most important requirement.

⁠ ⁠A strong natural sense of aesthetics, composition, lighting and framing.

⁠ ⁠Ability to make fashion products look premium and attractive through phone photography.

⁠ ⁠Good knowledge of photo and video editing apps.

⁠ ⁠Good understanding of Instagram, Reels and social media content.

⁠ ⁠Excellent written communication skills for handling customer DMs.

⁠ ⁠Confident, friendly and sales-oriented approach towards customers.

⁠ ⁠Creative, proactive and willing to experiment with new content ideas.

⁠ ⁠Ability to work in a fast-paced fashion and retail environment.

Preferred

⁠ ⁠Previous experience in fashion, apparel, e-commerce or lifestyle content creation.

⁠ ⁠Experience creating Instagram/Reels content for a brand.

⁠ ⁠A portfolio or Instagram page showcasing previous smartphone photography/content will be preferred.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for someone who has a genuine eye for good photography and knows how to make a beautiful ethnic-wear product look even better through a phone.

You do not need a professional camera or professional photography equipment. What matters most is your creativity, understanding of aesthetics and ability to consistently create high-quality content using a smartphone.

Portfolio / previous work is mandatory.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
