About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Shopify App Developer to design, develop, integrate, and maintain custom Shopify applications for our e-commerce stores.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Shopify App Development, Shopify APIs, webhooks, custom integrations, and JavaScript-based development. You will work on building reliable and scalable solutions that extend Shopify's functionality and connect it with other business systems and third-party applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain custom Shopify apps based on business requirements.
- Work extensively with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL and REST APIs.
- Build and manage Shopify webhooks for real-time data synchronization.
- Develop custom integrations between Shopify and third-party platforms.
- Work with products, orders, customers, inventory, discounts and other Shopify data.
- Build secure and scalable app architecture with proper authentication and permissions.
- Troubleshoot, debug and optimize existing Shopify apps and integrations.
- Ensure apps and integrations do not negatively impact store performance, checkout, tracking or existing functionality.
- Work with Shopify's app ecosystem and understand when a custom app or integration is required.
- Manage development, testing, staging and production deployment.
- Maintain clean, well-structured and documented code.

Required Skills & Experience





- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify App Development.
- Strong experience with Shopify APIs, Webhooks and GraphQL/REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript / Node.js.
- Experience building and maintaining custom Shopify apps.
- Good understanding of Shopify authentication, OAuth and app permissions.
- Experience working with JSON, REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Understanding of databases and backend development.
- Experience with Git, staging environments and deployment workflows.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with live Shopify stores.

Positive to Have

- Experience with Shopify CLI and Shopify App Bridge.
- Experience with Shopify Polaris.
- Knowledge of React.
- Experience with Shopify Plus.
- Experience integrating Shopify with ERP, CRM, payment, logistics or marketing platforms.
- Understanding of Shopify's checkout and extension ecosystem.

What We’re Looking For We are looking for someone who has personally built and worked on Shopify apps, not just managed Shopify stores or installed third-party apps.

Candidates should be able to explain their previous Shopify app projects, the functionality they developed, the APIs/integrations they worked with, and their individual contribution.

This is a permanent in-house position and not a freelance engagement.

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
