nJob Profile Summary
nThe Automation Engineer is a key member of the VCF9 Migration Factory Delivery Pod's Execution tier, building automation that raises migration throughput and eliminates manual swivel-chair work between tracking systems. Owns the design and development of PowerCLI, Ansible, and HCX orchestration and Terraform automation against VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) APIs, in direct support of bulk and on-demand migration waves. Applies creative problem-solving to identify automation gaps while keeping the Migration Coordinator and customer aware of progress. Uses initiative and standard programming practices to ensure the stability and security of the pod's automated solutions.
