Whizz HR is hiring for Storyboard Artist/Senior Visualizer in Chennai :

Key Responsibilities

- Create storyboards based on scripts, concepts, treatments, and creative briefs.

- Visualize scenes, shots, camera angles, compositions, character positions, and movements.

- Develop clear shot-by-shot visual sequences for films, advertisements, digital content, music videos, and other productions.

- Interpret the director's/creative team's vision and translate it into strong visual storytelling.

- Suggest camera movements, framing, transitions, lighting, and visual treatments where required.

- Create rough sketches as well as more detailed storyboard frames depending on project requirements.

- Work closely with directors, creative directors, copywriters, designers, animators, and production teams.

- Use visual references, mood boards, photographs, and existing assets to communicate ideas effectively.

- Make revisions based on creative feedback and production requirements.





- Ensure storyboards are practical and clearly communicate the intended execution to the production team.

Skills & Requirements

- Strong understanding of visual storytelling and filmmaking language

.

- Positive knowledge of camera angles, lenses, composition, perspective, framing, and camera movement.

- Ability to understand a script and break it down into individual shots.

- Strong drawing/sketching and visualization skills.

- Ability to communicate an idea clearly even through quick, rough sketches.

- Knowledge of tools such as

Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, Storyboarder, or similar software is an advantage.

- Understanding of animation, VFX, advertising, or film production is a plus.

- Strong sense of composition, pacing, continuity, and visual aesthetics.

- Ability to work quickly under tight production deadlines.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.
