nWe are looking for experienced professionals with strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration and Azure Infrastructure as a Service (Azure IaaS) to support enterprise-scale database environments.
nRequired Technical Expertise
nStrong hands-on experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration.
nExpertise in SQL Server installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, and version management.
nHands-on experience administering SQL Server on Azure IaaS (Azure Virtual Machines).
nStrong knowledge of SQL Server Backup, Restore, Recovery Models, and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies.
nExperience implementing and supporting High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) solutions, including Always on Availability Groups, SQL Server Failover Cluster Instances (FCI), Windows Server Failover Clustering (WSFC), Log Shipping, and SQL Server Replication.
nExpertise in database performance monitoring,



performance tuning, query execution plan analysis, index optimization, and database maintenance.
nStrong understanding of SQL Server security, including authentication, authorization, encryption (Transparent Data Encryption - TDE), user access management, and auditing.
nHands-on experience performing database integrity checks using DBCC CHECKDB and implementing proactive database health monitoring.
nExperience troubleshooting production database issues related to performance, blocking, deadlocks, CPU, memory, storage, and connectivity.
nHands-on experience with SQL Server Agent, Maintenance Plans, capacity planning, and proactive database monitoring.
nGood understanding of Windows Server environments supporting SQL Server deployments.
nExperience with Azure Virtual Machines, Managed Disks, Availability Sets, Availability Zones, Azure Backup, and Azure Monitor.
nKnowledge of PowerShell
