Hiring: Senior Staff Backend Engineer

Location: India Offshore

We’re looking for a Senior Staff Backend Engineer to build and lead core backend services for a highly scalable, data-intensive platform.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and own scalable backend & computation services.
2. Build configuration-driven and reusable systems.
3. Develop complex SQL queries and efficient data models.
4. Ensure systems are accurate, reliable, reproducible, and auditable.
5. Work on multi-tenant, multi-cloud, and customer-hosted environments.
6. Drive architecture, code reviews, technical decisions, and mentor engineers.
7. Collaborate with Data, AI, and Product teams.

Required Skills :
1. 8+ years of backend engineering experience.




2. Strong backend engineering experience with Python (preferred), or Go, Java, or similar languages.
3. Excellent SQL & data modeling skills.
4. Solid system design, scalability, and performance expertise.
5. Experience with configuration-driven/rules-based architectures.
6. Strong focus on quality, testing, and system reliability.

Good to Have : Snowflake | PostgreSQL | dbt | Docker | Kubernetes | Terraform | AI/ML | Finance/Accounting
