- Implement and configure Vertex tax engine (O Series or Cloud) for Sales & Use Tax per requirement
n
- Knowledge of Technical Integration of Vertex with ERP platforms such as SAP ECC, S/4HANA
n
- 7+ years in VERTEX O-Series 9.0, Vertex Q Series consulting experience of SAP Finance with VERTEX US Tax Knowledge
n
- Taxability Driver knowledge is required
n
- Create Tax Rules as requested, experience in Vertex customization, master data, and Tax Journal reporting
n
- Customize current taxpayers (SAP company codes) for projects
n
- Coordinate with Tax, IT, and Finance teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions
n
- Monitor and troubleshoot tax calculation and integration issues across systems
n




- Analyze business transactions and apply accurate tax rules and logic for determination
n
- Lead system testing (unit, integration, UAT) and provide training to users
n
- Maintain documentation on configuration, rule logic, and support processes
n
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and global sales and use tax regulations
n
- Support tax compliance processes including reporting, exemption certificate management, and returns
n
