nRoles & Responsibilities:

nWe are seeking a senior Go engineer to deliver complex third-party open-source package upgrades in a large monorepo setting. The role owns the engineering path from package assessment and version change through dependency remediation, build and existing-test stabilization, applicable presubmits, change submission, and migration reporting.

nKey responsibilities:
n

nAssess assigned packages, dependency trees, API-change exposure, build impact, and upgrade friction before execution.
nUpgrade Go modules and package versions; separate version bumps and local patches where required and re-apply or retire patches safely.
nResolve breaking API changes in the upgraded library and update directly affected downstream callers within the approved scope.
nDiagnose and remediate Go/Bazel build failures, existing test failures, and applicable presubmit failures attributable to the upgrade.
