Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Software Platform Engineer to take hands-on ownership of our cloud infrastructure, developer platform, Kubernetes workloads, and CI/CD ecosystem.

The role focuses on building and scaling cloud-native platforms on AWS EKS, modernizing Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Actions, implementing Terraform/Pulumi-based Infrastructure as Code, and creating reusable developer self-service and golden paths.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable building infrastructure, developing CI/CD workflows, troubleshooting Kubernetes deployments, improving platform security and observability, and defining SLOs and reliability standards across the engineering organization.

Key Responsibilities

- Build, scale, and maintain cloud-native platforms on AWS using Kubernetes/EKS.
- Manage AWS EKS clusters, Docker containers, deployments, networking, and cloud infrastructure.
- Design and implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Pulumi.
- Modernize and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (ADO) and GitHub Actions.
- Implement GitOps-based deployment and release processes.
- Create reusable pipelines, workflows, templates, and automation to enable developer self-service.
- Build and enhance Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs) and developer portals.
- Establish and maintain golden paths for application development and deployment.
- Improve platform security, IAM, secrets management, governance, and compliance.




- Implement monitoring, logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting to strengthen platform observability.
- Define and monitor SLOs, SLIs, and reliability standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across AWS, Kubernetes, CI/CD, networking, and infrastructure.
- Develop automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strengthen disaster recovery, high availability, backup, and business continuity practices.
- Drive operational excellence, platform standardization, automation, and engineering productivity.
- Collaborate with development teams to understand their needs and provide scalable platform solutions.

Required Skills & Experience

- 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Strong expertise in Kubernetes and AWS EKS.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and container platforms.
- Experience with Terraform or Pulumi.
- Strong experience with GitHub Actions and/or Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Experience with GitOps tools and deployment methodologies.
- Good understanding of IAM, secrets management, platform security, and cloud governance.
- Experience with observability, monitoring, logging, metrics, and alerting.
- Solid understanding of SRE principles, SLOs/SLIs, reliability, scalability, and incident management.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent technical degree.
