Key Responsibilities
- Architecture & Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure backend services and microservices using Python.
- API Engineering: Architect and implement high-performance RESTful APIs and GraphQL schemas, integrating external third-party services and downstream systems using JSON-based payloads.
- Database Design & Management: Model, optimize, and manage NoSQL databases (primarily MongoDB) as well as relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MSSQL) for query performance and data integrity.
- System Administration & Tooling: Develop, deploy,



and debug applications directly in Linux/Unix environments.
- Code Quality & Mentorship: Drive clean architecture, comprehensive unit/integration testing, and code reviews across Git-based workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, QA, and DevOps engineers within an Agile/Scrum framework to deliver sprint commitments predictably.

Required Technical Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: 8–12 years of qualified software engineering experience primarily using Python .
- Framework Expertise: Deep practical experience with core Python web frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask .
- API Technologies:
- Demonstrated expertise in designing, securing, and documenting RESTful APIs .
- Practical experience implementing and consuming GraphQL APIs.
- Advanced proficiency in handling complex JSON parsing, data serialization, and API integrations .
