Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Python Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable backend systems. The ideal candidate has strong expertise in Python frameworks, async programming, real-time communication using WebSockets, and cloud-native application development on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Python
- Build RESTful and asynchronous APIs using Django, FastAPI, and Flask
- Develop real-time applications using WebSockets
- Implement asyncio-based solutions for high-concurrency use cases
- Build scalable, high-availability microservices and backend architectures
- Optimize application performance, latency, security, and reliability
- Write clean, reusable, well-documented, and testable code
- Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Implement logging, monitoring, and debugging for production systems
- Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers

Required Technical Skills Backend & Frameworks
- Strong proficiency in Python
- Hands-on experience with:

Django / Django REST Framework

FastAPI

Flask

- Experience with async/await, event loops, and concurrency models
- Hands-on experience building WebSocket-based services

Async & Real-Time Technologies
- Strong understanding of asyncio
- Experience with:

WebSockets (FastAPI WebSockets, Django Channels, etc.) Async background tasks and workers
- Knowledge of handling high-throughput,



low-latency systems

Databases
- Solid working knowledge of:

PostgreSQL

MongoDB

AWS DynamoDB

- Experience with async database drivers (e.g., asyncpg, motor good to have)
- Database schema design, indexing, and performance tuning

Cloud & AWS
- Solid experience with AWS services:

ECR, ECS

AWS Lambda

S3

AWS Secrets Manager

- Hands-on experience using boto3
- Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices (IAM, encryption, VPC)

Deployment & DevOps
- Containerization using Docker
- Application servers such as Gunicorn
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with agile tools like JIRA

Scalability & Architecture
- Experience building scalable, distributed, and fault-tolerant systems
- Strong understanding of event-driven and async architectures
- Experience handling high-concurrency and real-time workloads
- Familiarity with caching and messaging systems (Redis, SQS – good to have)

Good to Have
- Experience with Django Channels
- Knowledge of message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
- Experience with testing async code (pytest-asyncio)
- Monitoring & observability tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK)
- Experience in startup or high-growth environments
