We are seeking a Senior Python Backend Data Engineer with robust experience in Python-based backend development, data engineering, API development, and AWS cloud services. The developer will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable backend services, data pipelines, integrations, and data processing workflows supporting data-driven applications.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and data processing solutions using Python.
- Develop RESTful APIs and backend services using frameworks such as FastAPI.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and processing of data from multiple sources.
- Work with AWS services such as Lambda, Glue, S3, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, and CloudWatch.
- Integrate data from APIs, databases, file systems, and other enterprise sources.
- Design effective data models and work with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
- Implement data validation, quality checks, error handling, logging, and monitoring.
- Optimize backend services and data pipelines for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with frontend, DevOps, QA, and other engineering teams to enable end-to-end feature delivery.




- Troubleshoot production issues and support ongoing enhancements and maintenance.
- Follow secure coding, version control, CI/CD, and Agile development practices.

Required Skill Set:

- 5+ years of experience in Python backend and/or data engineering.
- Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
- Hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar Python frameworks.
- Robust experience developing RESTful APIs and backend integrations.
- Experience with AWS services including Lambda, Glue, S3, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, and CloudWatch.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT pipelines and data processing.
- Good knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
- Experience with data modeling, schema design, and large-scale data processing.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong understanding of application security, authentication, and access control.
- Experience troubleshooting and optimizing backend/data-intensive applications.
- Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Budget: INR 205000/monthly Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
