Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Engineer – Production to manage day-to-day production activities, production planning, manpower coordination, quality improvement, and process optimization.

The ideal candidate should have strong shopfloor experience, production planning knowledge, and hands-on experience with Injection Moulding processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and coordinate daily production activities to achieve production targets.
- Monitor production processes and ensure smooth shopfloor operations.
- Develop and implement process improvements for effective utilization of materials, manpower, and equipment.
- Handle manpower planning and optimize workforce utilization.
- Monitor and control production rejection and support quality improvement initiatives.
- Implement Kaizen, 5S, Poka-Yoke, CAPA, 4M and 3M practices.
- Ensure production activities follow defined product specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate raw material issuance to production lines as per production planning.
- Identify production and quality issues and implement appropriate corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead and monitor the production team, including training, performance monitoring, and skill development.
- Ensure daily production check sheets and process-related records are completed accurately.
- Monitor production data and maintain proper documentation.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance,



Stores and other relevant departments for smooth production operations.
- Ensure adherence to established quality, process and workplace safety standards.

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of Production Planning & Control (PPC).
- Hands-on experience in shopfloor manpower handling.
- Knowledge of production processes and manufacturing operations.
- Good understanding of 7 QC Tools, Kaizen, 5S, CAPA, Poka-Yoke, 4M and 3M.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Experience with ERP/MRP software will be an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving, coordination and team-management skills.
- Ability to monitor production targets, quality and process performance.

Eligibility Criteria
- Education: B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: 5–8 years in Production / Manufacturing.
- Industry Experience: Injection Moulding experience is mandatory.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience managing production operations and shopfloor teams.
