Key Responsibilities

- Conduct detailed physiotherapy assessments and evaluate patients' functional, physical and mobility-related conditions.

- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and diagnosis.

- Provide physiotherapy interventions including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, mobility training, respiratory therapy and other appropriate modalities.

- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes and response to therapy.

- Provide physiotherapy services across relevant clinical areas, including IPD, OPD, ICU and post-operative care, as required.

- Work closely with doctors, nurses and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care.

- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, posture, precautions and home-based care.

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans and progress notes.

- Identify and escalate clinical concerns or changes in patient condition to the concerned physician/team.

- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, clinical protocols, infection-control practices and patient-safety standards.

- Support the development, implementation and review of physiotherapy protocols and standard operating procedures.

- Guide and mentor junior physiotherapists and support their clinical development.

- Participate in clinical audits,



quality initiatives, training programs and departmental activities.

- Stay updated on evidence-based physiotherapy practices and incorporate appropriate techniques into patient care.

- Ensure qualified and empathetic communication with patients and attendants.

Eligibility / Candidate Profile:

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized institution.

- 7-10 years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a hospital or multispecialty healthcare setting.

- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a Team Lead / Senior Physiotherapist / Supervisory role, managing a team of physiotherapists and supporting departmental operations.

- Proven experience in mentoring, training, and evaluating junior physiotherapists.

- Strong clinical exposure in patient assessment, treatment and therapeutic interventions.

- Experience in handling complex cases and working in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.

- Good knowledge of physiotherapy protocols, clinical documentation and patient-safety practices.

- Experience in mentoring or supervising junior physiotherapists will be an added advantage.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple patients effectively.

- Willingness to work across different clinical areas and shifts as per hospital requirements.
