About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team and take responsibility for the design, configuration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and day-to-day management of our Data Center Network Infrastructure.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with routing, switching, BGP, IP announcement, VLANs, L2/L3 networking, routers, and data center networking.

This is a hands-on technical role where the engineer will be responsible for maintaining network availability, performance, security, and troubleshooting network-related issues across our data center infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and maintain the complete Data Center Network Infrastructure.
- Configure, manage, monitor, and troubleshoot routers, switches, firewalls, and network devices.
- Handle IP address announcement and routing activities.
- Configure and manage BGP sessions and BGP routing.
- Work with IP Transit, upstream providers, peers, and BGP routing policies.
- Configure and troubleshoot VLAN, Private VLAN (PVLAN), trunking, and L2/L3 switching.
- Manage Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot routing protocols and routing tables.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity, packet loss, latency, routing, and performance issues.
- Manage IP addressing, subnetting, routing, and network segmentation.
- Support network expansion, new server deployments, and customer connectivity requirements.
- Monitor network devices and proactively identify network failures or performance issues.
- Perform network changes, upgrades, maintenance, and configuration backups.
- Maintain proper documentation of network topology, IP allocation, VLANs, BGP configuration, and network devices.
- Coordinate with upstream providers,



hardware vendors, and internal technical teams for issue resolution.
- Participate in network troubleshooting during critical incidents and outages.
- Ensure high availability and reliability of the data center network.

Required Technical Skills Networking – Mandatory
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, OSI Model, IPv4/IPv6, subnetting and CIDR.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of BGP.
- Practical experience with IP Announcement / IP Prefix Advertisement.
- Good understanding of AS Number, ASN, Prefix, Route Advertisement and BGP Peering.
- Hands-on experience with routers and routing configuration.
- Strong knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switching.

- Robust troubleshooting skills for routing and switching issues.

- Experience working in a Data Center / ISP / Hosting environment will be highly preferred.

Candidate Profile We are looking for someone who:
- Has strong hands-on networking experience, particularly in a data center environment.
- Can independently troubleshoot complex routing and switching issues.
- Has practical experience with BGP and IP announcements.
- Understands how ISP/upstream connectivity and Internet routing work.
- Is comfortable working directly with routers and switches.
- Can handle network incidents and critical outages under pressure.
- Has good analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Can work independently as well as coordinate with other technical teams.
- Is willing to work from our Kalyan office.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, Networking, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA / CCNP will be an advantage.
- Equivalent practical hands-on experience will also be considered.

What You Will Work On You will be responsible for the core networking infrastructure supporting our servers, virtualization platforms, cloud/server instances, and customer infrastructure. The role provides an opportunity to work on real-world data center networking, Internet routing, BGP, IP announcements, switching, virtualization, and server infrastructure.
