Senior Java Full-Stack Technical Architect
Experience: 8-12 years
Location: North Bangalore - WFO
Employment Type: Full-Time
Budget: 40 LPA
1.ROLE SUMMARY
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of modern, scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise across full-stack technologies, enterprise Java, cloud platforms, microservices, and DevOps, enabling them to define end-to-end technical solutions that align with business goals and enterprise standards.
This role requires hands-on architecture leadership, technology governance, stakeholder management, and mentoring of engineering teams. The architect will drive technical strategy across frontend, backend, cloud infrastructure, integrations, security, and delivery pipelines while ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 Architecture & Design
- Define and own end-to-end architecture for web, mobile, and enterprise applications
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-native solutions
- Establish architecture standards, design patterns, and governance practices
- Drive adoption of microservices, event-driven architecture, and API-first design
- Lead architecture reviews and technology selection decisions
2.2 Full-Stack Solution Architecture
- Define backend architectures using Java/Spring Boot and modern stacks
- Architect modern web applications leveraging React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Design reusable components, shared services, and integration patterns
- Deliver seamless end-to-end user experiences with cross-functional teams
2.3 Backend & Enterprise Application Architecture
- Provide technical leadership for enterprise applications using Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security
- Drive best practices in code quality, performance tuning, concurrency, caching, and security
2.4 Cloud & Platform Engineering
- Design AWS-based architectures: EC2, EKS, Lambda,
RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB, S3, CloudFront, IAM, CloudWatch
- Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives
- Establish Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform and AWS CDK
2.5 DevOps & Engineering Enablement
- Define CI/CD standards and deployment automation strategies
- Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
- Implement blue-green, canary, and rolling deployment practices
- Establish observability, monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks
2.6 Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
- Partner with business stakeholders and product teams to define technical solutions
- Mentor engineers, technical leads, and architects
- Conduct architecture reviews and technical governance forums
- Support pre-sales activities, solution proposals, and client presentations
3. REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS 3.1 Full-Stack Architecture (MUST-HAVE)
- Deep understanding of modern frontend frameworks: React, Angular, or Vue.js
- Strong expertise in end-to-end web and enterprise application design
- Frontend architecture patterns, state management, and performance optimization
3.2 Core Java & Enterprise Expertise (MUST-HAVE)
- Hands-on expertise in: Java 8/11/17+, Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns
- Collections Framework, Multithreading & Concurrency, JVM Performance Tuning Extensive experience with:
- Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security
- Hibernate/JPA, REST APIs, Maven/Gradle
3.3 Microservices & Distributed Systems (MUST-HAVE)
- Expertise in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures
- Event-driven architecture, service discovery,
distributed transactions
- Circuit breaker patterns, orchestration & choreography models
- Message brokers: Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SNS/SQS
3.4 AWS Cloud Architecture (MUST-HAVE)
- Robust AWS architecture and implementation experience across:
- Compute: EC2, EKS, Lambda
- Databases: RDS/Aurora, DynamoDB
- Storage & CDN: S3, CloudFront
- Networking & Security: VPC, IAM, API Gateway
- Observability: CloudWatch, monitoring, logging
3.5 DevOps & Infrastructure Automation (MUST-HAVE)
- CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (EKS)
- Infrastructure-as-Code: Terraform, AWS CDK
- Automated testing and deployment pipelines 3.6 API-First Design & Security
- REST, GraphQL, OpenAPI/Swagger
- API versioning, gateways, and management
- OAuth 2.0, JWT, SSO, API Security Standards
3.7 Data Architecture Relational databases:
- PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server NoSQL databases: MongoDB, DynamoDB, Redis4. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience leading architecture for enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives
- SaaS, platform engineering, or product development experience
- Multi-tenant architectures, high-availability systems, and disaster recovery planning
- Strong client-facing consulting and solution architecture experience
- Experience managing geographically distributed teams
- AWS Solutions Architect Professional certification
- Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD) or Terraform certifications
