Key Responsibilities
- Tax Preparation & Filing: Accurately prepare, review, and file US federal and state tax returns, specifically focused on:
- Form 1040 (Individual Income Tax Returns)
- Form 1065 (U.S. Return of Partnership Income)
- Form 1120S (U.S. Income Tax Return for an S Corporation)
- Software Utilization: Leverage TaxAct as the primary tax preparation platform to manage client data, calculations, and electronic submissions efficiently.
- Accounting & Review: Ensure financial statements and general ledgers are tax-ready and reconciled accurately prior to return preparation.
- Compliance & Client Support: Stay up to date with US federal and state tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements to provide compliant tax strategy advice.
