Description

KLDiscovery, a leading global provider of electronic discovery, information
governance and data recovery services, is currently seeking a Manager, Software
Engineering position.

The person will develop and maintain software applications in support of
KLDiscovery’s family of products and services. Oversee software development
projects and report on initiatives to ensure timely delivery. Remove roadblocks
to impede team progress. Interact with other departments. Engineering and
project management experience and skills required. Engage with direct reports on
a regular basis to proactively provide coaching, mentoring, and training.
Provide regular feedback to direct reports on their performance. They will also
mentor, coach, and train entry and mid-level software developers.

Responsibilities

* Oversee software development projects and report on initiatives to ensure
timely delivery
* Serve as a single point of contact for project initiatives
* Communicate project goals and expectations to associates




* Acting as a bridge between business and software development
* Remove roadblocks impeding team progress
* Interact with other departments
* Engage with direct reports on a regular basis to proactively provide
coaching, mentoring, and training
* Provide regular feedback to direct reports on their performance
* Conduct annual performance evaluations
* Operate within budget, authorization limits and aligned with the current
financial condition. Provides input for budgeting for next fiscal periods
* Support recruitment, onboarding, and compensation management. Provide input
for and execute hiring strategy in compliance with law and internal
regulations

* Occasional travel

Qualifications

* University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related scientific
field preferred
* Minimum of 2 year of leadership, training, and mentoring experience
* 10+ years of software development experience and/or training
* Or equivalent combination of
