Job Description
We are looking for an experienced C/C++ & Perl Developer to maintain, enhance, and support an existing production codebase for a large enterprise environment. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in C, C++, and Perl programming, along with expertise in debugging, troubleshooting, and production support.
The candidate should be comfortable working with legacy/existing applications, understanding complex code, identifying issues, and implementing enhancements and fixes.
Mandatory Skills
Robust hands-on experience in C and C++ programming
Strong experience in Perl scripting/programming
Experience in maintaining, debugging, and enhancing existing or legacy codebases
Strong experience working in Linux/Unix environments
Hands-on experience with debugging, troubleshooting, and production support
Experience with Shell scripting
Strong understanding of:
Data Structures
Pointers
Memory Management
Multithreading
Preferred Skills
Experience in the Telecom domain
Knowledge of MySQL or other databases
Understanding of Networking and TCP/IP
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications
