Job Summary
Applix is looking for a passionate Mobile QA Engineer with 3–7 years of experience in manual and automation testing of mobile applications. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in testing Android and iOS applications, developing automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium, or Playwright with Java, and ensuring software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Candidates with strong manual mobile testing experience and excellent communication skills will also be considered,



even if they have limited automation experience.

This role requires an individual who enjoys identifying quality risks, improving test automation, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring reliable, high-quality mobile application releases.

Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, execute, and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for Android and iOS applications.
Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and end-to-end testing.
Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Appium, Selenium, or Playwright with Java.
Execute manual testing for mobile applications where automation coverage is unavailable or limited.
Validate REST APIs and perform API automation testing using the Karate Framework (positive to have).
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects throughout the software development lifecycle.
