Role Summary

You will build and operate production-scale platform engineering capabilities on Kubernetes (Amazon EKS/GKE), focusing on reliability, scalability, and developer productivity. You will work closely with platform, SRE, and engineering teams to enhance cloud-native platforms, CI/CD systems, Backstage developer platforms, and secure software delivery practices while driving reliability and engineering efficiency across large-scale production environments.

This is a Hybrid position located at our Bangalore, India, development center. You will be required to be in office 2 to 3 days per week. When you are not working on-site, you will be working from your home office. We are only considering candidates within a commutable distance to our Bangalore office and are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

Position Details

About You

You will design, implement, and manage large-scale Kubernetes platforms (EKS/GKE), including multi-region deployments that ensure high availability, scalability, and business continuity.




You will oversee the complete Kubernetes cluster lifecycle, including provisioning, upgrades, patching, scaling, and disaster recovery planning.
You will build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Harness to improve deployment speed, reliability, and operational efficiency.
You will develop and operate EKS environments leveraging technologies such as Cilium, Istio/Envoy, Karpenter, IRSA, and Pod Identity, while contributing to the adoption of Backstage through templates, scaffolding workflows, and service catalog management.
You will create reusable Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) modules, platform automation frameworks, and AI-driven capabilities such as deployment risk analysis, anomaly detection, and pipeline insights.
