Role Description As a Senior Data Engineer at TriNexa, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and platforms that support advanced analytics, AI solutions, and business intelligence. You will work closely with data scientists, analysts, and application engineers to understand data requirements, model data structures, and implement robust ETL processes.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include optimizing data workflows, ensuring data quality and reliability, managing data warehousing solutions, and contributing to architectural decisions and best practices. You will also collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions and mentor team members on data engineering standards. This is a full-time, remote role.

Qualifications





- Strong data engineering skills, including experience designing and implementing scalable data pipelines and distributed data processing solutions.
- Proficiency in data modeling and data warehousing concepts, with experience building and optimizing schemas for analytics and reporting.
- Hands-on expertise with Extract Transform Load (ETL) processes and tools, including developing, scheduling, and monitoring robust ETL workflows.
- Experience in data analytics, with the ability to work with data stakeholders to enable dashboards, reports, and data-driven insights.
- Proficiency in at least one modern programming language commonly used in data engineering (e.g., Python, Scala, or Java) and SQL.
- Experience with cloud data platforms and services (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), and familiarity with modern data stack tools and frameworks.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, and best practices for data quality, monitoring, and observability.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment, with clear communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Previous experience in a senior or lead data engineering role, preferably within consulting, technology services, or product-focused organizations.
