Location: Ahmedabad Regional Office, Gujarat | Field Deployment: Project sites as required

Reports To: General Manager, OTBL Ahmedabad Regional Office

Supervises: Field Labour, as assigned

1. JOB PURPOSE

To support the execution, supervision and monitoring of bioremediation and oil-spill cleaning projects, including field coordination, environmental sampling, site supervision, documentation, reporting and client coordination, ensuring safe, timely and compliant project execution.

1. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Coordinate day-to-day project activities, field teams, manpower, machinery, materials and site requirements. · Supervise field labour and coordinate with JCB/machinery operators, transporters and site agencies.

· Monitor excavation, contaminated-soil handling, transportation, cleaning, treatment and site-refilling activities.

· Support quantity measurement, environmental sampling, soil preparation and bioremediation treatment, including application of bacterial cultures as instructed.

· Maintain accurate records of quantities, sampling, manpower, treatment and site activities.

· Prepare daily progress reports and assist with periodic reports, certification documentation and ERP submissions.

· Coordinate with client representatives and provide routine project updates and required documentation, as authorized.

· Ensure compliance with OTBL’s safety, environmental and project requirements; promptly report incidents, unsafe conditions, deviations and operational issues.

· Identify delays/issues, coordinate corrective action within delegated authority and escalate matters requiring management intervention.

1. AUTHORITY & ACCOUNTABILITY

Within delegated authority, coordinate field activities, guide labour, coordinate with machinery operators/transporters,



maintain project data and communicate routine operational information to clients. No financial, contractual or other commitment shall be made on behalf of OTBL without proper authorization.

1. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

· Timely and quality execution of assigned project activities. · Accuracy of site supervision, measurements, sampling and records.

· Timely and complete reporting, ERP updates and certification documentation.

· Effective coordination with field teams, site agencies and clients.

· Compliance with safety and environmental requirements.

· Timely identification, reporting and escalation of issues/deviations.

1. QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

Essential: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Environmental Science or an allied discipline. Experience: Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in environmental projects and/or oil-field operations/supervision. Experience in bioremediation, oil-spill cleaning, contaminated-site restoration, environmental sampling, ETP operations or waste management will be an advantage.

Knowledge of bioremediation, contaminated-site and oil-spill management; basic environmental sampling and field monitoring skills; strong field supervision, documentation, reporting and coordination abilities; good communication and problem-solving skills; ability to work in field conditions and as part of a multidisciplinary team; strong commitment to safety and environmental responsibility.

1. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Willingness to undertake local/domestic travel and hands-on field assignments; valid driving licence as applicable; access to a two-wheeler/four-wheeler for field visits preferred.

1. REMUNERATION & GENERAL CONDITIONS

Remuneration: As per industry standards. The incumbent shall perform other duties assigned by the competent authority in the interest of OTBL’s operations and projects.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹42,000.00 per month
