Role Description The Senior Accountant is a full time, on-site role based in Jharsuguda. This role is responsible for preparing and reviewing financial statements, managing general ledger entries, and ensuring accurate month-end and year-end closing activities.

The Senior

Accountant oversees accounts payable and receivable, reconciles bank and other key accounts, and supports budgeting and forecasting processes. The role includes ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and tax regulations, coordinating with auditors, and preparing necessary documentation and reports.

Accountant will guide junior team members, support client interactions, and contribute to process improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and statutory compliance, including experience with month-end and year-end closing.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems,



along with solid skills in MS Excel and other office productivity tools.
- Experience in taxation, including preparation and review of tax returns, tax planning support, and adherence to relevant regulations.
- Ability to analyze financial data, prepare management reports, and support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Demonstrated ability to review and improve internal controls, processes, and documentation for accuracy and efficiency.
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with colleagues, guide junior staff, and interact professionally with clients.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Relevant experience in public accounting or corporate finance, with prior responsibility in a senior or lead accounting role.
