Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant Manager with 5+ years of experience exclusively in the banking sector. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in banking accounting, reconciliation, financial reporting, and transaction review, with a solid understanding of banking processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations within the banking environment.
- Perform and oversee bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of banking transactions, ledgers, and balances.
- Review and resolve reconciliation differences, unmatched entries, and outstanding items.
- Prepare and review financial statements, MIS reports, and accounting schedules.
- Ensure accurate recording and classification of banking transactions.
- Monitor accounting controls and ensure compliance with internal banking policies.
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve accounting and reconciliation-related issues.
- Review month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required reports and documentation.




- Lead and mentor junior accounting team members.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in the banking sector.
- Banking-sector experience is mandatory.
- Strong experience in reconciliation and accounting operations.
- Positive understanding of banking transactions, ledgers, settlements, and financial controls.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong communication and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounting activities and meet strict deadlines.

Preferred Candidate The ideal candidate will be someone with a strong background in banking accounting and reconciliation, who can independently manage accounting operations, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. Note: Candidates without relevant banking-sector experience will not be considered.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
