SAP FICO Project Manager.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP FICO Project Manager to lead SAP Finance and Controlling (FICO) implementation, rollout, upgrade, and support projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing project delivery, stakeholder engagement, resource planning, risk management, and ensuring successful implementation of SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) solutions aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

- Lead end-to-end SAP FICO implementation, migration, rollout, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
- Define project scope, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Manage project plans, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Track project progress and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Ensure adherence to project governance and quality standards.

SAP FICO Functional Leadership

- Drive requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities.
- Provide expertise in SAP FI modules including:

- General Ledger (GL)

- Accounts Payable (AP)

- Accounts Receivable (AR)

- Asset Accounting (AA)

- Bank Accounting

- Tax Configuration

- Financial Closing
- Manage SAP CO areas including:

- Cost Center Accounting

- Profit Center Accounting

- Internal Orders

- Product Costing

- Profitability Analysis (COPA)

Stakeholder & Team Management

- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Audit, and IT teams.
- Lead cross-functional teams comprising SAP consultants, developers, testers, and business users.
- Facilitate workshops and steering committee meetings.
- Manage vendor and third-party relationships.

Testing & Deployment

- Oversee SIT, UAT, regression testing, and defect management.
- Ensure successful cutover planning and go-live activities.
- Support hypercare and post-production stabilization.

Governance & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations,



internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain project documentation, process flows, and solution design documents.
- Support SOX and regulatory compliance initiatives where applicable.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of SAP FICO experience.
- 3+ years of SAP Project Management experience.
- Hands-on experience in at least 2-3 full lifecycle SAP implementations.
- Robust understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and controlling processes.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Waterfall delivery models.

- SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Financial Accounting
- SAP S/4HANA Finance Certification
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent Project Management certification
