Role Description The SAP Build Apps Consultant will work on a remote, long-term consulting contract (12+ months) to design, develop, and optimize SAP Build Apps solutions for enterprise clients. This role involves gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into scalable low-code applications, and ensuring seamless integration within complex SAP and non-SAP landscapes.

The consultant will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, architects, and engineering squads, to configure, test, and refine solutions that support performance, reliability, and security goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating and maintaining application designs, managing master data considerations, troubleshooting integration and process issues, documenting technical and functional specifications, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives aligned with DDAI Tech’s AI-accelerated delivery model.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and deploy enterprise applications using SAP Build Apps on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Build scalable low-code/no-code applications based on business requirements.
- Integrate SAP Build Apps with SAP and non-SAP systems using REST APIs, OData, and BTP services.
- Develop and configure application logic, data models, UI components, integrations, and business rules within SAP Build Apps.
- Work with SAP BTP services, including Destination Service, Connectivity Service, Authentication/Authorization, and related services.
- Support side-by-side extension scenarios for SAP S/4HANA and other SAP applications.
- Collaborate with functional consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective Build Apps solutions.
- Troubleshoot, enhance, and provide production support for existing applications.
- Follow SAP development, security, integration, and DevOps best practices.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to solution design and technical documentation.

Required Skills:

- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Build Apps.




- Valuable understanding of SAP BTP architecture and services.
- Experience building business applications using SAP Build Apps.
- Experience with APIs, REST/OData, and system integrations.
- Understanding of SAP BTP Destination Service and Connectivity Service.
- Experience integrating SAP Build Apps with SAP S/4HANA or other enterprise systems.
- Understanding of cloud-native application development and side-by-side extension concepts.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
