Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, administer, and maintain database settings.
Manage and support databases such as SAP HANA, MaxDB, MS SQL Server, or MySQL.
Perform database upgrades, patching, and version migrations.
Monitor database performance, availability, capacity, and health.
Perform data migration and database maintenance activities.
Manage database objects including tables, indexes, constraints, and views.
Troubleshoot database performance and connectivity issues.
Provide support for large and complex database landscapes.
Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery activities.
Support database security, access management, and user administration.
Work on incident, problem, and change management following ITIL processes.
Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and technical teams to resolve database-related issues.




Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
Provide production support and participate in on-call activities when required.

Required Skills
5+ years of experience in Database Administration.
Hands-on experience with at least one of:
SAP HANA
SAP MaxDB
Microsoft SQL Server
MySQL
Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
Experience in database installation and configuration.
Experience with database upgrades and patching.
Hands-on experience with data migration.
Valuable understanding of tables, indexes, constraints, and views.
Experience supporting large database landscapes.
Knowledge of backup and recovery concepts.
Experience with ITIL Incident and Problem Management.
Solid troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
