Higher Education Post/Job****Title Research*Associate Job*Purpose The ideal candidate will support us in multiple research projects focusing on sustainability and sustainable behaviour, including projects related to agriculture, food waste, electricity consumption, paper consumption, and other related areas.

The position is ideal for candidates looking to gain hands-on research experience in laboratory and field experiments, particularly in applying behavioural insights to sustainability-related problems. It would be especially suitable for candidates interested in pursuing a PhD in Behavioural Economics, Management, or related fields.

The Research

Associate will be fully integrated into the vibrant research community at IIMB and will have opportunities to interact with faculty members, PhD students, research fellows, academic associates, and other researchers. Mentorship and support will be provided to the Research Associate in developing their research skills and preparing for and applying to PhD programs. Job****Type Will be hired under Project Code Duration Six Months Reporting****to Professor Shalique M S PrincipalAccountabilities& Responsibilities - Cleaning, managing,



and analyzing data using Stata - Supporting data analysis for field experiments and randomized controlled trials - Assisting with study pre-registration and IRB applications - Helping prepare registered reports, project documentation, and research manuscripts - Conducting background research and literature reviews - Coordinating with project teams and supporting other research-related tasks as needed Qualification****and Personal Profile Master’s degree in Economics, Public Policy, Management, or a related field. KeySkilland****Ability Requirements - Strong training in econometrics, and statistics - Hands-on experience with Stata; knowledge of R or Python is a plus - Prior experience with RCTs, field experiments, lab experiments, or impact evaluation is preferred - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Robust attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and motivation to work in an academic research environment Compensation As per the Institute norms The closing date for applications is 23 September 2026.
