We are seeking an experienced and technically strong R&D; Manager to lead the design, development, validation, and commercialization of innovative Motion Sensors, Occupancy Sensors, Smart Lighting, IoT-enabled Automation Solutions, and Energy Management Products.

The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in electronics hardware, embedded systems, product design, firmware, intelligent lighting technologies, and recent product development. The candidate will be responsible for leading the complete product development lifecycle from concept, design, prototype development, testing, certification, pilot production, and successful market launch while ensuring compliance with international quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Research & Product Development

* Lead the complete New Product Development (NPD) process from concept to commercialization.

- Develop innovative Motion Sensors, Occupancy Sensors, Presence Sensors, Smart Lighting, and Energy Saving Solutions.
- Design products for commercial, industrial, warehouse, office, infrastructure, and residential applications.
- Conduct technology research, market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and feasibility studies for new product opportunities.
- Improve existing products with a focus on performance, reliability, manufacturability, quality, and cost optimization.
- Define product specifications, technical architecture, and product roadmaps.

Product Design & Engineering

Lead the design and development of products including:
- PIR Motion Sensors
- Microwave Motion Sensors
- Radar-Based Sensors
- Occupancy & Presence Sensors
- Daylight (Lux) Sensors
- Sensor Integrated Tube Lights
- Sensor Integrated Batten Lights
- Panel Lights
- Downlights

Prototype Development

* Develop proof of concept (POC) models and engineering prototypes.
- Coordinate PCB fabrication, prototype assembly, and functional testing.
- Perform debugging and design improvements before production release.
- Validate product performance through laboratory and field testing.
- Work closely with mechanical and industrial design teams for enclosure development and product optimization.

Product Validation & Certification

* Prepare product validation plans.
- Conduct functional, reliability, endurance, thermal, environmental, and lifecycle testing.
- Perform failure analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate product certifications including BIS, CE, RoHS, EMC, LVD, and relevant IEC standards.




- Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory and safety requirements.

Manufacturing & Industrialization

* Support pilot production and new product introduction (NPI).
- Resolve manufacturing-related technical issues.
- Improve product quality, manufacturing efficiency, and production yield.
- Coordinate closely with Production, Quality, SMT, Purchase, and Operations teams during product launch.

- Present project progress, technical reviews, and development strategies to management.
- Foster a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
