Strategic Role

· Assist in process improvement initiatives (5S, Kaizen, Lean).

· Participate in root cause analysis and preventive action planning.

· Provide feedback and support supplier quality improvement.

· Train and mentor operators and inspectors on quality practices.

· Support implementation and compliance of ISO 9001/IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP requirements.

· Promote continuous improvement and strengthen quality culture.

Operational Role

- Supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
- Ensure inspection is carried out as per control plans, work instructions, and customer requirements.
- Validate first-off/first-piece inspection before starting production.
- Ensure calibration of gauges, fixtures, and measuring instruments.
- Ensure process parameters are followed and documented.
- Support operators regarding quality alerts, boundary samples, and quality standards.




- Ensure visual standards, boundary samples, OK/NOT OK criteria are available and followed on the shop floor.
- Conduct line clearance & quality checks during line changeovers.
- Attend customer audits, line audits, and product audits.
- Support in customer complaint handling and corrective action reports.
- Guide and train inspectors and operators on quality standards and oversee performance
- Support quality awareness training (7 QC tools, defect identification, handling gauges, etc.)
