Role & responsibilities
- Working towards recent product development for in-house as well as supplier (Fabrication, Forging, machining, Sheet metal, Injection molding, casting, rubber, sub-assembly and other standard BOPs) using APQP FAI, and PPAP, resulting in 100% RFT (Right First Time).
- Knowledge of tests required for Special process i.e. heat treatment, surface treatment.
- Supporting the QC functions by providing required inputs i.e Quality plans, work instructions, product specifications etc.
- Participating in the new product launches through FAI/PPAP approval and ensuring that all the necessary documented information is being provided to concern people.
- Practical knowledge of handing of non-conformance products. Proficient in implementation of techniques like Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) techniques, GD&T;, 7QC Tools, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Poka-Yoke, 5S, Kaizen, PFMEA, etc.
- Remains aligned with manufacturing engineering to ensure change implementation and updating documents accordingly.
- Knowledge about Quality standards & Quality management system
- Functional knowledge of Quality instruments/equipments i.e coordinate measuring machine, Magnetic practical inspection, mechanical and chemical testing of raw materials, Video measuring machine, hardness testing, contour tracer etc.
- Excellent interpretation of engineering drawing and related specifications.

- Diploma in Mechanical
Relevant EXPERIENCE:
Must
- Minimum of 2-3 years related experience
- Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable
- Experience as inspector in Quality Engineering
- Working Experience in Defence Sector
