About The Role

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Trainee to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in software testing, quality assurance, and application development.

As a QA Trainee, you will work closely with experienced QA engineers, developers, and product teams to test software applications, identify defects, and help ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in testing web, mobile, and software applications.
- Understand project requirements and prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Identify, document, and track software bugs using appropriate bug-tracking tools.
- Reproduce issues and provide transparent information to developers for resolution.
- Execute test cases and maintain accurate testing documentation.
- Perform retesting and regression testing after bugs are fixed.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues.
- Assist in validating new features and product enhancements.
- Participate in test planning and contribute to improving QA processes.
- Learn and apply software testing best practices and methodologies.




- Continuously improve knowledge of QA tools, automation, and modern testing techniques.

Required Skills

- Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance concepts.
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC is preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of test case creation and bug reporting.
- Familiarity with web applications and basic understanding of browsers and APIs.
- Basic knowledge of SQL/database concepts is an advantage.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Postman, or similar testing/bug-tracking tools is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Git/GitHub is an advantage.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

Positive to Have

- Knowledge of API testing using Postman.
- Basic knowledge of SQL queries and database testing.
- Familiarity with automation testing concepts.
- Exposure to Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar automation tools.
- Basic programming knowledge in Python, Java, JavaScript, or any other programming language.
- Academic projects, internships, certifications, or practical experience related to software testing.

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.




- Fresh graduates with a strong interest in software testing and quality assurance are encouraged to apply.
