We are looking for an experienced QA Tester to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of software applications. The candidate will be responsible for understanding business requirements, preparing test scenarios and cases, executing different types of testing, identifying defects, and working closely with development and business teams to deliver high-quality applications.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze business and technical requirements and prepare test scenarios, test cases, and test data.

Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and sanity testing.

Execute test cases and document test results and defects.

Identify, log, track, and retest defects using tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or similar API testing tools.

Validate data using SQL queries and perform database testing.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Backlog Refinement, and Sprint Retrospectives.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and other QA engineers.

Perform root-cause analysis and provide detailed defect reports.

Ensure testing activities are completed within defined timelines and quality standards.

Maintain test documentation, execution reports,



and QA metrics.

Support UAT and production validation activities when required.

Identify opportunities to improve testing processes and automation.

Required Skills Strong experience in Software Testing / Quality Assurance.

Good knowledge of STLC, SDLC, and defect life cycle.

Hands-on experience with manual testing.

Strong understanding of functional and regression testing.

Experience with API testing and web application testing.

Good knowledge of SQL and database validation.

Experience with Jira / Azure DevOps or similar defect management tools.

Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and documentation skills.

Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Good to Have

Experience With Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Or Other Automation Tools. Knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript for test automation.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

Knowledge of performance and security testing.

Experience with cloud-based applications such as AWS or Azure.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
