Job Title: Junior / Associate QA Automation Engineer (1 Year Experience)

Role Summary

We are looking for an Associate QA Automation Engineer with 1 year of hands-on experience in software testing and test automation. In this role, you will work closely with development and QA teams to write automated test scripts, execute test suites, maintain existing test frameworks, and perform manual testing when needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Test Automation & Execution: Write, maintain, and execute automated UI/API test scripts using framework tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Test Case Design: Review functional specifications, write structured test cases, and identify test scenarios suitable for automation.
- Manual & Regression Testing: Perform routine regression, smoke, and functional manual testing during sprint cycles.
- Bug Tracking & Reporting: Log, track, and verify defects using Jira or similar tools, providing clear steps to reproduce.
- CI/CD Integration:



Trigger and monitor automated test runs within CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
- Collaboration: Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and work alongside developers to resolve defects early.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 year of software testing experience with exposure to test automation.
- Programming Skills: Foundational coding skills in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with at least one UI framework (Selenium Webdriver, Cypress, Playwright) or API testing tool (Postman, REST Assured).
- Database & SQL: Basic ability to write simple SQL queries for data validation.
- Tools & Version Control: Familiarity with Git, Jira, and TestRail/Zephyr.

Pay: ₹120,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
