We are looking for a QA Analyst / Software Tester to join our development team and help ensure the quality, reliability, and usability of our web-based software products.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for understanding requirements, preparing test cases, executing functional and regression testing, identifying and documenting defects, and working closely with developers and product teams to deliver high-quality software.

This role is primarily focused on manual and functional testing, with knowledge of API testing, SQL/database validation, and test automation considered a strong advantage.

Role & responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to identify testing requirements.
- Create and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, test plans, and test data.
- Perform functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing.
- Test web applications across different browsers and screen sizes.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track software defects.
- Provide clear bug reports including steps to reproduce, expected results, actual results, screenshots/logs, and severity.
- Perform regression testing after bug fixes and new feature releases.
- Verify fixes and ensure previously working functionality has not been affected.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and business stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
- Maintain testing documentation and provide transparent test execution reports.




- Identify potential risks and edge cases before features are released.
- Support UAT and production-release testing when required.
- Contribute ideas to improve QA processes, test coverage, and overall product quality.
- Learn and contribute to automated testing as the QA process evolves.

Preferred candidate profile

- 12 years of experience in software testing / QA.
- Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and SDLC.
- Good knowledge of manual testing methodologies.
- Experience creating and executing test cases.
- Strong understanding of functional and regression testing.
- Good defect identification, documentation, and tracking skills.
- Experience testing web applications.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods/status codes.
- Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
- Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with developers and product teams.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum development processes.

Good to Have
- Experience with test automation using Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Experience testing REST APIs and third-party integrations.
- Experience testing SaaS, e-commerce, marketplace, ERP, CRM, or other business applications.
- Experience testing payment, inventory, order, or marketplace integrations.
- Knowledge of performance, security, or accessibility testing.
