We are seeking Senior Python Developers with strong hands-on experience building SaaS platforms using distributed and event-driven architectures. The role requires deep backend expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to own complex systems end to end.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services using Python
- Build and maintain event-driven and distributed systems
- Work extensively with Kafka for messaging and streaming use cases
- Design and optimize data models across SQL and NoSQL databases
- Ensure system reliability, performance, and scalability
- Lead troubleshooting, performance tuning, and RCA activities
- Mentor mid-level developers and review code
- Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, and product teams
- Participate in production deployments and on-call rotations
Mandatory Skills & Qualifications
- 5–8 years of hands-on software development experience
- Strong expertise in Python (must)
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka
- Good experience designing and working with distributed systems
- Strong understanding of event-driven architectures
- Experience building and scaling SaaS platforms
- Solid understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with system design, performance tuning, and scalability
- Proficiency with Git and CI/CD workflows
- Strong experience in Linux-based environments
Good to Have
- Experience with graph databases (Neo4j, JanusGraph, etc.)
- Experience developing services in Java
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to cloud-native architectures
