Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Hospital Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for medical and non-medical supplies required for hospital operations. The candidate will be responsible for vendor coordination, purchase planning, inventory support, cost control, and ensuring timely availability of quality materials in compliance with hospital standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Procure medical equipment, surgical items, pharmaceuticals, consumables, stationery, housekeeping items, and other hospital supplies.
- Coordinate with departments to collect purchase requirements and prepare purchase orders.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors for pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.
- Maintain vendor records, quotations, agreements, and procurement documentation.
- Ensure timely procurement and uninterrupted supply of essential hospital materials.
- Compare quotations and prepare comparative statements for approval.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate with stores/inventory teams to avoid shortages or overstocking.
- Verify invoices, delivery challans, and purchase records before processing payments.




- Ensure purchased materials meet hospital quality standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding deliveries, replacements, and pending orders.
- Assist in annual rate contracts and vendor performance evaluations.
- Maintain procurement reports, MIS data, and monthly purchase summaries.
- Ensure compliance with hospital procurement policies and financial procedures.
- Support cost-saving initiatives and productive inventory management practices.
- Coordinate with finance, pharmacy, biomedical, and administrative departments for smooth procurement operations.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Hospital Administration, or related field.
- Diploma or certification in Materials Management or Procurement preferred.
