Role Description The Senior Design Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Vadodara, responsible for leading the design and development of construction and material handling equipment. Day-to-day tasks include creating detailed designs and 3D models, preparing engineering drawings, and ensuring products meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams in production, quality,
and procurement, reviewing prototypes, and supporting testing and validation activities. The Senior Design Engineer will optimize existing designs, troubleshoot technical issues, and contribute to continuous improvement in design standards and manufacturing processes. The position also includes mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with suppliers and customers on technical specifications as needed.
Qualifications
Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering and Design Engineering, with the ability to lead complex product development projects.
Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for 3D modeling, drafting, and design documentation.
Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles relevant to powered construction and material handling equipment.
Experience in Product Design for industrial machinery, including durability, safety, and ease-of-maintenance considerations.
